Job Description: Power BI Engineer (Mid-Level)

Role Objective:

We are seeking a data-driven Power BI Engineer to join our team in Gurgaon as an immediate backfill. You will be responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights through high-performance dashboards and robust data modelling. The ideal candidate is someone who bridges the gap between complex data engineering and intuitive visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Dashboard Development: Design, develop, and maintain professional- grade Power BI reports and dashboards that drive business decisions.
• Data Modelling & DAX: Build complex calculated measures and columns using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and optimize data models using Power Query (M).
• Performance Tuning: Troubleshoot and optimize existing reports to ensure fast load times and efficient refresh schedules.
• Data Integration: Connect to various data sources (SQL Server, Azure, APIs, Flat Files) and ensure data integrity across the pipeline.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and business units to translate functional requirements into technical specifications.
• Security Management: Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage workspace permissions within the Power BI Service.

Technical Requirements

Data Architecture	Strong understanding of Star Schema, Oracle & ADW Schema, and Fact/Dimension tables.
