Job Summary:
Oasis Technosoft is seeking an experienced and dedicated RPA Developer with a minimum of 5 years of
hands-on experience in the Automation Anywhere platform. This role is crucial for ensuring the
stability,
performance, and continuous operation of our deployed automation solutions. The successful candidate
will be focused primarily on support, maintenance,troubleshooting, and optimization activities within a
fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Support & Troubleshooting (Level 2/3)
- Incident Resolution: Provide expert Level 2/3
support for production bots built on Automation
Anywhere (A360/A2019/v11), rapidly diagnosing and resolving issues, errors, and exceptions.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA): Conduct thorough Root Cause Analysis for
recurring bot failures and
implement permanent fixes or workarounds.
- Monitoring & Alerting: Proactively monitor bot performance and health via
the Automation
Anywhere Control Room, responding immediately to critical alerts and system outages.
- Exception Handling: Manage the unattended bot queue and implement complex
exception
handling logic to make bots more resilient and reduce downtime.
Maintenance & Optimization
- Code Maintenance: Perform code reviews,
refactoring, and updates to existing bots to align with
changes in target application UIs (User Interfaces), system dependencies, or business processes.
- Performance Tuning: Optimize bot performance to reduce cycle time and
improve throughput
using best practices in Automation Anywhere development.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to automated
processes to
improve stability, security, and scalability.
- Version Control: Utilize and enforce proper version control practices for
all bot code and
components.
Documentation & Collaboration
- Documentation: Maintain and update all relevant
technical documentation, including Solution
Design Documents (SDD), error logs, RCA reports, and operational manuals.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary technical point of contact
for support
incidents, effectively communicating status, resolution steps, and prevention measures to
business users and IT teams.
- Change Management: Adhere strictly to the established change management
processes for
deploying fixes and updates to the production environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of hands-on
development and support experience in Automation
Anywhere Enterprise (A360/A2019/v11).
- Technical Proficiency: Expert knowledge of key Automation Anywhere features:
Control Room,
Task Bots, MetaBots/Reusable Components, IQ Bot, and API/Web Service commands.
- Debugging & Diagnostics: Proven ability to read and interpret bot logs, use
debugging tools, and
trace errors across multiple integrated systems.
- Scripting: Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language
(VBScript, Python, or
JavaScript) for advanced logic and integration.
- System Integration: Experience in automating interactions with various
application types,
including Web applications (HTML, CSS, JavaScript DOM), Desktop applications,
Mainframes/Terminals, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Database: Working knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and querying
against backend
databases.
- Certification: Automation Anywhere Certified Advanced RPA Professional
(A2019/A360) is highly
preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills,
with a methodical
approach to support and a high sense of ownership.
Preferred Qualifications (Good-to-Have):
- Familiarity with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow,
JIRA) for incident and change management.
- Experience in Cognitive Automation technologies (OCR, AI/ML integration)
within the
Automation Anywhere ecosystem.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
