Job Description: Oracle Cloud EBS DBA with OCI Experience

Position Overview: We seek a skilled Oracle Cloud Database Administrator (DBA) with extensive experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and E-Business suite R12.2 to join our IT team. The successful candidate will manage, monitor, and optimize Oracle databases and the EBS in the OCI environment, ensuring our database systems' high availability and performance.

Skills Require:

  • Proficiency in database administration, management, and monitoring tools.
  • Experience EBS patching in DEV and PROD environments.
  • Knowledge of SQL and PLSQL.
  • Familiarity with Oracle performance tuning and optimization.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, proven to work effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Architect Associate certification.
  • Experience EBS OIC.
  • Linux Administration Skills.
  • Knowledge of automation tools and scripting languages.

Job Description:

  • Oversee and maintain Oracle EBS environments to guarantee performance, availability, and security.
  • Experience with DMZ application configuration in EBS.
  • Familiarity with REST services within the EBS application.
  • Control EBS access through responsibilities and role-based access management.
  • Develop and enforce policies and procedures to protect the security and integrity of the Oracle database.
  • Continuously monitor and enhance the database's performance, promptly addressing and resolving issues.
  • Oversee the application of EBS patches across TEST, DEV, and PROD environments.
  • Engage with the Oracle Support Portal to provide the development team with necessary assistance for issue resolution.
  • Safeguard the database against unauthorized access.
  • Collaborate closely with the development team on object migration, using FND load utilities, workflow, and administrative tasks.
  • Offer technical support for database functions, addressing and resolving user issues within the set SLA.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest Oracle database and OCI technologies, assessing and proposing new tools and services to fulfill business requirements.
  • Know about configuring and using the Enterprise Command Center.
  • Exposure to Adop, opatch, BSU patching, and other patching and admin utilities of the EBS.
  • Exposure to the WebLogic admin and monitor activities.
